Manufacturing offers many challenges for Barcodes that are not found in other commercial applications. Dirty or greasy surfaces, rugged handling as well as environments that can be wet or exposed to harsh chemicals and elevated temperatures. Seradex has worked to overcome these obstacles using many different label types.
Aluminum Barcode Labels
Built with a durable sub-surface photographic barcode image embedded in a sturdy, solid anodized aluminum tag that provides long life and excellent readability in the harshest environments.
Polyester Barcode Labels
Not as tough as aluminum, but still far tougher than any typical printed barcode label. An extra thick (.004") polyester surface protects the image that is embedded in the under side of this rugged plastic tag. Super-permanent pressure sensitive industrial adhesives provide lifetime bonding for trouble-free readability. There numerous premium adhesives for a wide range of adhesive properties.
Ceramic Barcode Labels
When very high temperatures or high chemical concentrations create labeling challenges, Ceramic barcode labels can be used in applications unsuitable for other label types.
