CAD Viewer - Seradex ERP Module

With Seradex ERP Cad Viewer you can view all of your AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Pro-Engineer files from within Seradex.

The idea behind “System Integration” is to connect systems so that information can be shared and acted on by all who need it, as quickly as possible. Two islands of information commonly found in manufacturing companies include an ERP database and a CAD database.

It is not uncommon to have an assembly drawing that does not match the ERP bill of material (BOM). Heavy CAD users may spend 40% or more of their time collecting and verifying BOM data. Given that the engineering department can make dozens of changes daily, the synchronization between these two systems is a major issue.

Your Challenges

1.	To quickly link a drawing file to the item master and be able to launch the drawing with either a viewer or the original design program. To be able to search drawing file names to find the associated Item number.
2.	Double click on the item master form to launch a file browser to locate and store file attachments to the item master
3.	When clicking on an attachment launch the file in an associated viewer
