Auto-Maintenance - Seradex ERP Module

The Auto-Maintenance module in the Seradex ERP system lets you schedule and automatically perform maintenance tasks any time you choose.

System administrative tasks for databases need to be standard practice for any manufacturing company. Whether you are running on Access or SQL you need periodic maintenance including:

Backup your database
Repair an Access Database
Compact an Access Database
Clear SQL Transaction logs
Run Seradex Web AutoUpdate
Run Seradex Data Integrity and Synchronization

Typically these tasks are scheduled at night to reduce network traffic. If required, you can even back up data while users are in the database (ideal for 24/7 situations)

You can also execute custom functions such as printing reports or data uploads and downloads. Simply launch the custom function from any PC that can see the database. When the time arrives it performs its tasks then goes back to "sleep" to await the next event.
