Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) is one of the most critical and time-consuming aspects of manufacturing is maintaining sufficient amounts of materials for manufacturing. How many times has production been delayed because a necessary material was not in stock or you could not get it in time?

This module is designed to help you control items normally kept on the shelf. The MRP module compares actual demand to available inventory (plus scheduled receipts) to predict future shortages. Your buyer can automatically convert demand to material requisitions and purchase orders. As soon as a new sales or work order is entered the material requirements are immediately visible to purchasing.

The MRP Module is very useful in a multi-level bill of material environments, since it will net requirements "upwards" for all purchased items. It will explode finished goods requirements from the MPS into raw material and component needs.

It augments conventional min, max and Kanban systems by notifying purchasing of large order "spikes" at the time of the order instead of when the initial pick is attempted. You can easily drill down from the MRP form to view the actual Sales and Work Orders.

It will do this with total accuracy, completely eliminating clerical effort. The ability to alter plans and to quickly re-assess purchasing and manufacturing implications without human effort greatly increases management flexibility.
